easymoney.jpgHi all, I hope everyone is doing great. It’s getting really cold outside here. The coldest thing about trying to get a business going is being ripped off. Most of us have been ripped off by some program that promises the world for little or no work. They have slogans like “so easy even a 5 year old could do it”. They try and hook you into thinking, anyone can do it and it’s easy. The truth is, you can’t run a successful home business without lots of hard work. You have to keep at it a few hours or more a day, everyday.

Don’t be suckered into thinking you can give somebody money and they will give you this magical program that does all the work for you. Lets get this straight, there is no such thing. Unless you won the lottery, born into money, or are an expert in the stock market, unfortunately you will have to do some kind of work to make money. Rich people don’t stay home and let the money roll in for doing nothing. They worked hard to get there. Yes it’s true, when you are successful you don’t have to work as hard. But to get to that goal, most of those people busted there ass to get there.

Don’t be fooled into buying any-ones program if they promise more than you can comprehend. Always remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you have a website, you know having the website is only half the battle. Now you have to spend an hour to 3 hours worth of advertising and marketing every single day. Marketing and advertising is very hard work. It takes a lot of know how and time. If you build it they will come, but not if they don’t know about it.

I saw a post on young entrepreneur earlier this week, talking about working at home stuffing envelopes making big money. This is one of the biggest scams out there. And so many people through the years and still do, fall for it. It’s a pyramid scheme. You buy envelopes and flyer’s from a company. When you get the supplies to start stuffing envelopes, you find that you are stuffing envelopes with the same flyer’s that got you to buy the stuffing envelope scam. All you are doing is ripping other people off the same way you got ripped off.

There are so many MLM and pyramid schemes out there now its ridiculous. Watch out who you give your money to. Make sure the company isn’t going out of their way to make you believe their con. Usually the company or program will try and sell you, with telling you an insane amount of money you will make right away. They also sell you with cheap ripoff slogans. The one I like most is, “it does all the work for you”. Let me tell you people, there is no program out there, that does all the work for you. You have to dedicate some amount of time and effort to get results.

Watch out for scams everyone. Some scams will be dressed up to look legitimate. Test the waters. Put the company to the test; if they sound like they are someone you’d like to work for. Ask them questions, see if they really know what they are talking about. Make sure a company has a phone number or email address and has good customer service. Don’t give them your money, if they can’t even return a couple of emails you sent inquiring about them. It will be a glance at what will happen in the future.

It’s sad that people are willing to steal your money away by lying to you. I hate sales pitches and advertisements sometimes. Just because you never know who to trust nowadays. Don’t be gullible, don’t believe everything you read. If you are in question, ask a friend or someone who has tried the service. There are scam alert websites you can check. I am sure some of you have your favorite place to check for scams. I like www.ripoffreport.com they have lots of people that have been scammed by various places. They all tell their stories.

If you question a website, post a comment on my blog and I will review it and post my opinion about it for you.

Thanks for stopping by everyone, see you tomorrow!

Lisa
