What is success to you? To some people being successful is just being able to afford whatever they want on the spot. Having the home and vehicle you want. Owning all the toys you want or buying them when new ones come out. Having a healthy loving family really helps to be successful also. It doesn’t make sense to be a millionaire without the love of family. But to everyone success may be different. What do you think of when you think of yourself being successful?
Nobody succeeds in life by doing things half-ass. Most successful individuals are successful because they have worked very hard to get there. It’s not uncommon to see a middle aged man finally being able to afford the toys he always wanted. When was the last time you saw a 20 year old kid driving a Corvette? If you did, it was probably daddy’s toy. You have to plan a long road to success.
Not many people get a chance to be rich when they are young. If someone was born into money or won the lottery, they may see riches earlier in life. The truth is, you have to start planning to be rich and successful right now if you want it to happen. Take each day and use it, to take you a step closer to your success.
If you don’t convince yourself to be successful, you never will be successful. Start planning now to be a millionaire. If you are on your 20’s and you can put about one hundred dollars a month in to a savings account, you will be more than a millionaire before you retire. If you are in your 30’s, you will need to put about 200 dollars a month into a savings account. Start off with a small goal like this until it is a habit. Think about IRA’s; that is another great way to plan on being successful in your future.
You don’t have to be in sales to be successful. Be smart and plan for your future everyday. That’s all you need to do to be successful. Be smart and use money to make money. As you get older you will be in a habit of rolling money over to make more. Instead of always spending money and just making ends meat. Sacrifice now and enjoy life later. Some people won’t be so lucky to live a long life and succeed later. That’s okay, think of your loved ones. Don’t you want your loved ones to be taken care of when you are gone?
You have to not only think of ways to be successful, but you have to actually act on them. The act of actually doing something can be very frustrating, especially if you are not used to it. That’s why you have to try and be successful everyday you can. Make your success a habit so you always do it. Next time you go to the coffee shop and get that coffee, just think: Three dollars a day for coffee is about ninety dollars a month. If you’re in your twenties, that’s enough to make you a millionaire when you retire if you banked that money.
Make little goals and chores throughout the day for yourself. Make those chores guide you to success. Make each goal or chore take you one step closer to success. Even if today’s goals only includes calling mom and going food shopping. Make a checklist, check each chore or goal off as you complete them through the day. Don’t give yourself a reason to finish tomorrow. Your challenge through the day should be completing each chore on your checklist before the day is done. So make your checklist realistic and able to be accomplished in one day.
So start telling yourself today that you WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. Picture what you have to accomplish to make yourself feel successful and take it one day at a time. Don’t forget, your idea of success may be a lot different than someone else’s idea of being successful. If success to you is just being happy, then do what you can each day to accomplish that. Don’t rush or overwork yourself. You have a long time to be successful.

I have been wanting to talk about Build a Niche Store for a while, but I wanted to test it out first. Today I am going to review the famous Build a Niche Store, otherwise known as BANS. For a couple of months I had a little team of people testing this product. It claims you can build an ebay business without selling anything yourself. BANS is genius and I am surprised nobody else has come up with this idea to make money. You will earn 20% to 75% commission on each item you promote and sell.
All you have to do is select what country you live in. Or you can choose what country you want to focus your sales. They let you choose .com(USA), .ca(Canada), .uk(United Kingdom), or .au(Australia) country codes. Now you will be promoting products on the ebay marketplace in the country you choose.
Then you pick what products/niche you want to sell. What I like best about this is, you can choose categories like; video games, cell phones, DVDs, or clothing. As you know, these products are very impossible to get at wholesale prices if you are a home business. So why not promote the stuff you can’t buy wholesale. You can pick any category/niche that ebay marketplace has to offer. That’s the best part. You don’t ever have to look for a wholesale distributor ever again. Just choose a niche and it will list some great products from ebay that WILL SELL on to your BANS website. Including all those low priced goods you couldn’t compete with even if you tried.
Next, they let you develop your BANS website. You can go into the admin control panel and pick what options you want your website to have. You can change the way your website will look. I like how you can customize the website to fit whatever theme you have. You can actually transform your website theme in to a professional website with great items for sale very easily.

Loaning money to a friend or family member. You all know what I am talking about on this one. You have that friend or family member that wants to borrow a sum of money and pay it back later with extra. Later never comes. You might as well throw your money away and disown your friends and family before you loan them a large quantity of money. Five dollars here or there is fine. Most big money loans from family or friends end up being enemies or meet each other in court. Unless you can really trust them, you probably won’t get paid pack. Or if you do get paid back it may be much, much, later. I am not saying you will always get ripped off by family or friends. But for some reason, they are the ones that will rely on you to cut them some slack.
Compared to buying a used car, buying a new car will save me money. Totally false!!! Did you know the average car loan is over $400.00 a month for over 80 months? That’s a lot of money if you throw in car insurance also. New cars depreciate in value as soon as you drive it off the lot. You may think that the new car won’t break down as much as a used car. You may think you could buy someones lemon if you buy a used car. That’s false too. New cars made these days break down just as much as used cars do. You won’t save money with this way of thinking. Save some money; buy a good used car with a small loan. Or buy a good used car outright to own.
Do you think you can save money with debt consolidation? I hope you don’t think you will save money. Debt consolidation is a hidden legal scam. Sure you can put all your bills into one convenient loan with a smaller payment each month. But guess what? Instead of a 10 year loan, you just gave yourself a 40 year loan. That 40 year loan will make the debt consolidator thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of dollars. When you use a debt consolidator, they will tell you the world to make you think you are making the right decision. But you are not saving anything. In fact you will be paying out the wahzoo. They want your money for 40 years instead of just 10 years. They know you are bound to make late payments or fault your loan the longer you have it. They get late payment fees and money when someone faults a loan. Plus all that money you paid them in interest through 40 years. In the long run, it means more money for the debt consolidator, none for you.
After my divorce he/she will pay for everything because they owe me alimony/payments. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I know you may not think divorce is a way to save money. But people actually think that their credit cards and bills in their name will be paid by the other party if they have alimony coming to them. Anything in your name is your responsibility. If your name is on that credit card, bank account, or bill, you are required to pay the balance. The judge that assigned money to whomever, has nothing to do with things you personally owe. Pay off everything in your name before, during, and after a divorce.
If I declare bankruptcy I will clear my bad credit in a few years, instead of always having bad credit. Wrong! Don’t ever declare bankruptcy if you plan on ever having good credit with a bank. If you have bad credit, you can fix it without declaring bankruptcy. If you declare bankruptcy; sure you may have a cleared credit record in a few years; but you will always have to tell the loaner that you declared bankruptcy for the rest of your life. That’s right, every time you apply for a loan, for the rest of your life, you have to check that “Have you ever declared bankruptcy” box on the loan application. Then the person loaning you the money will be more likely to turn you down anyway. You are better off with bad credit and a chance of still fixing it. Fix your bad credit everyone. Bankruptcy is not the easy way out.

Hi everyone, I hope your weekend was good. Someone asked me why they would use a private auction. They thought the seller was a con artist for listing private auctions. The seller is most likely not a con artist just because they use private auctions. There are a few very good reasons a seller or buyer might want a private auction instead of a regular auction.
I am going to tell you the advantages of buying or selling a private auction on ebay. If you are a buyer, you might want to buy an item from a private auction for some items. If you are a seller it might be important to sell your item with a private auction. Not just for feedback reasons, but for personal reasons as well.
Lets say you wanted to sell a very expensive car. The car was book valued at one hundred thousand dollars. You wanted to sell it for eighty thousand dollars. So you list it on ebay as a private auction. Most people don’t want other ebay users to know they sold such an expensive item. On the other hand, a buyer might not want other ebay members to know they could afford such a high priced item. This is where a private auction would come in handy. After the auction ends and transaction is completed, the feedback for this item will show as private. Other ebay members will never know what the item sold was.
Let’s say you wanted to buy some adult items. If you bought your adult items on ebay, you might try and find a private auction. The private auction will prevent other ebay members from noticing you bought adult items. Private auctions will help the seller in this circumstance also. Most sellers don’t only sell adult items. But other ebay members might get offended if they see adult items while trying to buy a children’s book from that same seller. So the private auction will prevent ebay members from looking through personal items bought.
I don’t agree with this last reason you would use a private auction. But people do use private auctions so the competition won’t know what they are selling. That’s right, sellers like me; like to look at my competitions feedback to see what they are selling. It really helps to know what sells best or what isn’t selling. By using the private auction to sell their listings, it will prevent competition like me from finding out what items are hot.
I hope this explains why people would use a private auction to buy or sell on ebay. Just because it is a private listing doesn’t mean it’s a scam or the seller is trying to pull a fast one. Actually the seller is trying to help out the buyer by keeping their information private.

If the manufacturer tells their wholesale distributor not to sell to home business, they better not. You need a physical store front in order to buy from certain manufacturers or wholesale distributors. If you want to be a distributor of these big name brands, be ready to be turned down. You have to be an authorized distributor/dealer to buy wholesale for certain name brands. Some manufacturers put applying distributors through a vigorous and long process to get approved. Some manufacturers like Sony or Nike will only sell to certain retail stores. Your average mom and pop retail store in the city, would have a hard time acquiring such a contract. Otherwise you would see a Nintendo Wii being sold at every corner store.
If the wholesale distributor broke their agreement with the manufacturer they would be sure to be in court, as well as lose their big money account with a huge manufacturer. If the manufacturer was a huge contract like Sony or Nike, you can be sure that wholesale distributor wouldn’t be able stay in business for very long. That would be too big of a loss. Most companies wouldn’t be able to afford staying in business if they lost a contract like that.
The fact is; Don’t take it to offense, but companies like Sony and Nike don’t want to take the chance of a home business ruining their reputation with certain products. The risks are much higher dealing with small businesses compared to companies that are well established businesses. Not only that, but if these manufacturers decided to let the wholesale distributors ever sell to home businesses, this is what would happen:
The home businesses with little overhead would be able to charge lower prices than retail stores. Retail stores have huge contracts with companies like Sony and Nike. But retail stores have to pay overhead bills, insurance, and pay many employees among just a few things. The retail store would have to sell at MSRP to make profit. Even though the manufacturer wants everyone to sell at MSRP, doesn’t mean everyone will listen. Then lower prices than MSRP will pop out all over uncontrolled. Retail stores would take a huge loss. In the long run it would hurt the manufacturer.
But if the manufacturer sets a strict licensing agreement up with just the wholesale distributors, they can control who gets the product at wholesale prices. They could even track down the wholesale distributor breaking the rules, if they decided to break them. If small home businesses got to buy product at wholesale prices, the manufacturers wouldn’t be able to track down the bad ones selling at under MSRP. That’s what it is all about, a control game.
This also cuts down on counterfeiting rings. It will be easier to spot the people selling fake goods at lower prices if they know all their wholesale distributors. If Sony or Nike find someone selling way below MSRP, they will do an investigation. If that business is found not to be an authorized distributor, they would go after that company. Counterfeiting has become a huge problem around the world.
There are all kinds of other reasons big name manufacturers tell their wholesale distributors not to sell to anyone at wholesale prices. Most if it is just to cover their asses over licensing agreements.
I am not saying Sony won’t let any of their distributors sell wholesale. But certain products they make like Playstation, are under strict licensing agreements. Don’t expect to buy them at wholesale prices if you have a home business. You may be able to find shoes or clothing to buy wholesale as well.
But don’t expect to buy big name brand clothing or video games at wholesale prices. It’s impossible to buy these at wholesale prices if you are a home business. Anyone claiming to sell these items at wholesale, is either lying or selling counterfeit merchandise. Or they may be a crazy company that doesn’t care about their strict licensing agreement between the manufacturer and the distributor. If that is the case, they will soon be caught.
Times may change, but right now when a new shoe or product come out that is in high demand; there is usually not enough man power to create the product fast enough. Then the manufacturers try and control everything as much as they can to squeeze the most profit out of it.
When the product slows down in demand you will notice the products licensing agreements may change and it will be available to everyone at wholesale prices. But new products that are the big money makers for manufacturers will rarely be available to buy at wholesale unless you are an authorized distributor or dealer. And that day may never come with certain products.
There are lots of other products that are covered by strict licensing agreements like this. Everything from licensed professional sport clothing to DVD’s are under strict licensing agreements. Most of the time you will find the ones protected by strict licensing agreements are the ones that are most counterfeited.
Anyone claiming to have wholesale prices available for such goods are probably selling at discounted prices, not wholesale. There could be lots of reasons, but if they are an authorized dealer they will get in trouble. It could also be a scam.

Some wholesalers and manufacturers drop ship, but they don’t advertise it. Just ask your current wholesaler if they drop ship. Most companies will drop ship if you have been a loyal customer. In the past, it didn’t matter if you were making a million dollars a month; no major name brand company would drop ship single items.
If you don’t have a current wholesale distributor, find one and ask if they drop ship for home business also. Drop shipping has become so big in the past year or so, that most wholesale distributors will be drop shipping by the end of this year. If they don’t drop ship, they will lose business to the competition. Ebay and other online marketplaces have users drop shipping.
Most online marketplaces have strict rules about not drop shipping. You are not supposed to list an item for sale if it is not in your possession. But today’s drop ship companies have become very good at what they do. They actually care about your customers. So they will do whatever they can to get your items out to your customers as soon as possible. They will also put your company name and address on the return label. Your customers will never know the item was drop shipped.
If you have trouble looking for a wholesaler that will work with your home business do some research. Sometimes it is tough to find a wholesaler if you don’t know what to look for. It can be very time consuming to find the right wholesalers to work with. Sometimes it will take you days or weeks to find the right wholesaler. If you wanted to save some research time, you could get a source company to find real wholesalers that will drop ship for you. Source companies have teams of people that constantly do research to find the wholesalers that will work with small business. World Wide Brands are a great wholesaler/drop ship source. I recommend World Wide Brands to any home business looking for real wholesale/drop shippers. They are the only drop ship/wholesaler information source that is recommended by ebay.
Wholesaler source companies can be expensive. Most sourcing companies will charge one hundred to three hundred dollars per lifetime membership. But the benefits of having a source company finding wholesalers for you will save you lots of time to dedicate in to other parts of your business.
Wholesaler source companies have been popping up everywhere in the past couple of years. It is a sign that more and more big wholesale distributors are starting to drop ship. Today I am going to explain the benefits of organic advertising/marketing. Paid traffic is a thing of the past. There was a time that a website could buy hits and it would effect the website positively. Now search engines are optimized to weed out the websites that pay for traffic. Search engines put websites that pay for traffic at the end of the list.
Some page ranks can be greatly affected by organic and paid marketing campaigns. Most websites that pay for traffic are penalized by google and other popular search engines. A website that was a page rank of eight or more can be penalized down to a page rank of zero for buying hits to your website.
Organic marketing is not penalized by page ranks or search engines. Organic advertising is just what it sounds like. You plant a seed (your website) and it grows. An organic marketing campaign will include; referral links from other websites, referrals from search engines through keywords and other means, links placed in forums, emails, articles, and other 3rd party websites. Even business cards or billboards are a great way to organically market your website or business.
Organic marketing concentrates more on targeted traffic. Usually when someone finds your website through organic marketing; it was because they were looking for the subject material your website has. You have to make your website bloom all over the internet. In order to use organic marketing to it’s full potential, you need to understand that it won’t be that easy. You have to be dedicated to what you are doing in order for it to work.
A good website with a great organic marketing campaign will be the website to have. You need to write articles, post in forums, use social websites to tell your friends about your website. It won’t happen overnight. But if you start an organic marketing campaign right now; three months from now you will see steady targeted traffic visiting your website. Paid traffic to your site will do nothing for you. Nothing except your page rank taken away or worse. Google has been taking page ranks away from websites that pay for traffic. You pay for traffic and get one hundred thousand hits or more in less than twenty four hours. Then google will recognize your website going from zero to a huge amount of hits in less than twenty four hours. This will put a red flag up for an investigation. If they have reason to think your website has paid for hits, guess what? No more page rank for you and your website. If your website was found on the first page of searches before, now it won’t be.
When you pay for traffic, you never know who will visit your website. It could be someone looking for the total opposite of what your website offers. When you pay for traffic, you can’t guarantee that it will be targeted traffic. I would rather have ten hits with three sales, than one hundred thousand hits to my website with no sales.
Organic advertising is the way of the future. Search engines are always being optimized and upgraded to find the people that take short cuts and punish them. Don’t use shortcut methods to bring in traffic and your website won’t be penalized. Search engines are also optimized to find only new content. So be sure and update or post on your website as often as possible.
Start your organic marketing campaign right now. It’s really easy to market your website nowadays. You don’t have to be a technician to have a good page rank now. Organic advertising is so easy, any average Joe can do it. And it’s free. You don’t have to pay anyone to organically market for you, because you can do it yourself.
Why would you want to pay someone to do the same thing you can do, only better? It will only cost you time spent. Organic advertising has become as important as your website. You need traffic to your website in order to make money. If they don’t know about your website, they won’t visit it.
Don’t expect to have traffic come to your website as soon as you start marketing it. Organic marketing takes time. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see a difference in a couple of months. It takes a minimum of 90 days to see a real traffic increase using organic marketing.
Organic marketing is permanent, unlike paying for hits. When you organically market your website, you are planting the seed everywhere. Your website will be spread around like wildfire. Where, if you pay for traffic, the result only lasts for about 24 hours. All the advertisements and urls etc. you plant from organically marketing will always be there. It won’t go away until that website or place you put your URL takes it away.
Use organic marketing everyone. Today’s technology has given the gift of marketing to anyone. Organic marketing can and is used by everyone from beginner marketers to expert marketers. Paying for hits to your website is a thing of the past. The bottom line is; paying for hits doesn’t do anything except hurt you and your website from making progress.

Coins are a fantastic way to make some money if you are a collector. Everything from money with errors to foreign currency.
Collectibles are another great money making ebay category. From comics to Disney collectibles, this category will make you money.
Computers and Networking is a great category for the computer people to make some dough. Everything from laptops to computer peripherals and accessories sell good.
Consumer Electronicsis a huge money making category. Maybe a little too over-saturated, but still a good category.
Crafts is another good ebay category. Cross stitching to sewing accessories sell great in the crafts category.
Dolls and Bears is another awesome ebay category. American and vintage dolls seem to sell the best.

Jewelry and Watches sell good also. This category is good for everything from charms and bracelets to fobs.
Musical Instruments is another great category to sell in. Mostly wholesale lots and package deals sell well.
Pottery and Glass is another ebay category that sells really good. China dinnerware sells the best by far.
Sporting Goods is a good ebay category to sell in also. Everything from golf to snowmobiling equipment will sell in this category.

Don’t use technology for bad business practices. There is a lot of technology out there to use for your advantage. Don’t over do it. Some companies go as far as; using a computer program to profile guests. If a guest is good or bad. This way the company will know who they are dealing with up front. In my opinion, this is taking technology a bit too far.
As I have said before, use mobile technology. Especially if you don’t have the time to spend in front of your computer all day. Most business people can’t afford to be at the office all day. Their job requires them to always be on the run. Some people work two or more jobs. You need to have a mobile device, whether it be laptop, PDA, cell phone or whatever you are comfortable with using. You will be able to send and receive email, faxes, files, and important messages. There should be no excuse for you telling a customer you need to get back to the office and you get back to them. Although, even I have done this recently. We have to break the bad habit of not being mobile. Today’s technology thrives on our businesses being mobile.
Use web 2.0, it’s very beneficial. Use social media networks to improve your businesses database of customers. Myspace, facebook, delicious, digg, so many more social networks to make you and your business well known. You can post comments, messages, vidoes, and blogs. Web 2.0 is all about making friends. If you have a deadbeat bidder. You could offer the next highest bidder a second chance offer. So, if you only had one item, you could save yourself the time of chasing down your deadbeat bidder. At the same time you will sell the item.
Here is how you could save some money if you have multiple items.
*Say your auction ended at $100.00 with five bidders. First highest bidder $99.50, second $99.00, third $98.00, forth $97.00, and fifth $96.00. But your reserve price was $100.00, so reserve wasn’t met.
*If you can still make money, offer all the bidders a second chance offer. (Make sure you have multiple of the same item). You can send the offers out right after the auction ends. You have up to sixty days to make a second chance offer.
*Now 3 out of the five offers are accepted. You sold 2 extra items than you would have sold to begin with. And didn’t pay any extra auction fees(just the final value fee on each item). Plus your reserve listing price is automatically refunded to your account when a second chance offer is accepted. There is no fee for making a second chance offer. You can make as many second chance offers as you want. But you can’t send multiple second chance offers to the same bidder.
Very Important Note: This will only work with single item auctions. You can’t use this trick if it is a multiple item auction.
You will get hit with a final value fee for each offer accepted. Most of the time, you should be able to make up to three second chance offers and still make money.
If you want to make a second chance offer just go to “My Ebay”. Then click on your sold/unsold items link. Click the pull down menu in the action column and choose “second chance offer”. Now click continue and offer the high bidders second chance offers. Remember, only send multiple second chance offers if you have multiple of the same item for sale.

Hi everyone, it’s cold out there today. We are supposed to be getting an ice storm tonight(that’s always fun). I recently had someone tell me they weren’t going to pay their ebay fees. He said “since some of my auctions didn’t sell, I am not going to pay my auction fees”. I told him he was being ridiculous. Ebay will suspend you for not paying your seller fees. Make sure you pay them.
Ebay charges you once a month for the full amount you owe them for your auction fees. If you think you deserve a refund there are ways to go about it. But, by not paying your auction fees, you are asking for trouble. If you do not pay your auction fees, they will suspend your account until you pay them.
When you agree to be a seller on ebay; you also agree that ebay can take the money for sellers fees out of your bank account or credit card. If a period of time goes by without your fees being paid. Ebay will send it to a collection agency. This will show up on your credit report. And you get a bad mark on your credit for an unnecessary action. You agreed to ebay’s terms, pay up.
If you don’t pay your seller fees, your powerseller status will be affected. You may not be able to become a powerseller again when you pay your outstanding balance. On top of that, your regular customers will see that you have been suspended and may never come back. As soon as someone sees “not a registered user”, they usually think that seller is gone forever. We all know that if you see “not a registered member” next to someones name, it means they have been suspended.
The buyer doesn’t know it might only a temporary suspension. But they might get a bad vibe and never come back to your store or auctions again. Make sure you always have enough in your bank account or credit card to cover your monthly ebay bill. They send you an email every month with the amount being charged. You can also check this amount in “myebay”.
By not paying your auction fees, you can create so many chain reaction things that may hurt your business. I know it can be hard, but, do everything you can to follow ebay’s rules and terms. Be professional and double check everything you do. But, above all; PAY THOSE EBAY AUCTION FEES.

With a little bit of HTML knowledge, you can make your auction template into a beautiful eye catching salesperson. I always use www.w3shcools.com for my HTML knowledge. They have everything from tutorials, to coding you need in HTML. You will be able to change the code for any auction template.
I can’t stress this enough; IT’S NOT HARD TO LEARN HTML.
Just remember, HTML is a lot less complicated than it sounds. Even I don’t know all the HTML coding out there. I use w3schools as a guide whenever I forget a code. There is no excuse for letting your competition take your customers away because you didn’t have an HTML auction.

Not unless the price is right. Just make your auction as attractive and professional as possible. And you will be sure to increase your sales by 50% or more!

Hi everyone, I wish you a great week to come. Drop shipping on ebay can be very tough now-a-days. It can also be very rewarding if you do it right. There was a time when drop shipping and ebay were much more profitable. Now everyone and their mother is trying to drop ship on ebay. It’s not an easy task anymore, considering everyone else is drop shipping the same items you are. What’s worse is; you have people like me, who buy in bulk to resell. I get my goods much cheaper because I buy in bulk and offer much lower prices on ebay than you can offer.
First you have to find some products to sell. You can get some instruction on how to find some real wholesale/drop shippers on a post I made here. Finding the best products for you is the most important part. Don’t worry about what someone else is making money on. Try and find some products that sell well, without a lot of competition. Find some categories that have little or no competition.
In order to drop ship on ebay you have be creative. So, if there is competition(and I am sure there will be); you have to offer things your competition isn’t offering. You have to do things differently than your competition isn’t doing. I have said this tons of times, I know, but it’s important. How else are you going to beat your competitions prices unless you get creative to give the customer more?
I have a great tip to offer you with drop shipping. Bundle/Combo deals.
Here are some numbers.
Let’s say someone is buying bulk in wholesale. They buy 100 units for $50.00 each. The units retail for $95.00. They make $45.00 dollars profit on each unit.
You can get 1 unit for $70.00 if you have it drop shipped. You obviously can’t beat the competition getting it at $50.00 each unit and you would lose customers. Plus, you will only make $25.00.
But, if you get 3 accessories that go with the unit. Each accessory costs you $20.00 each and usually sell for $45.00 in stores. You will make $75. 00 profit on just the accessories if you sell them for what they usually sell for.
Now you add the accessories into a package deal with the main unit. Now you have a package deal worth $230.00(the unit $95.00/ accessories $135.00). Now you stand to make $100.00 profit and you are offering something your competition isn’t, a combo deal.
So, if your competition is selling their unit for $85.00 , it won’t matter. They are not offering any accessories. Customers want everything in one place.
You stand to make $100.00 combined profit between the unit and accessories. While the competition is only making $45.00 profit. So you could actually lower your price $50.00 more and make your offer even more attractive to buyers. You will still make $50.00 profit.
The customer will get everything in a combo deal cheaper than they could get anywhere else. Because you made up your own custom unit and accessories bundle that nobody else was offering. This is why it is good to know what you are selling.
Know what you sell. Know what accessories go with each main unit. Know what kind of batteries it takes. Know every little detail about what you sell. Keep on top of everything new that comes out for it. Everyday new technology comes out that goes hand and hand with a main unit we already own.
Think about how many accessories you can use with an Ipod or cell phone. There are thousands of different combo deals you could make. Combo deals that no other seller is offering. That will make your auctions more attractive to someone who wants everything at once.
FYI; It is forbidden on ebay to put items up for auction that are not in your possession.Ebay frowns upon drop shipping and they do not allow it. Unless you use an ebay recommended company like worldwide brands. World wide brands is the only source company that ebay recommends for drop shipping. Thousands of people drop ship on ebay and have done so for years. It’s something I never really got. They don’t allow it, but they let us do it.
Just be careful and be smart about the drop shippers you choose to work with. There are some terrible drop shippers who don’t care about your ebay reputation. Drop shipping on ebay can get pretty risky if you don’t know what you are doing. I have seen some great ebayers reputations ruined from bad drop ship companies.
Ebay and drop shipping can be a great experience. Just be careful who you choose to do business with. Be careful about the products you sell. Get creative and make some profit. Try offering something your competition doesn’t offer. Make up some bundle and combo deals so you offer something original that everyone wants.
